Founder & CEO

Former Veterinary Technician

"The journey from veterinary technician to the owner of a flourishing pet care business is not just a career path but a fulfilling mission."

Lexi has felt a deep connection to animals since she was a little girl. Instead of playing with dolls or Legos, she preferred playing veterinarian with her dogs. In high school, she completed her community service hours at an animal clinic, where she fell in love with the environment. During her college years, Lexi switched her focus to human medicine and became a surgical technologist. However, after two years in the field, she realized it wasn’t her passion anymore and decided to leave.

Shortly after, Lexi applied for a job at an emergency animal clinic, where she was hired on the spot. With her background in human surgery, she was able to assist in animal surgeries, noting the similarities in anatomy, medicine, treatments, and instruments. After three years at the clinic, the onset of COVID-19 led her to move back to Florida to be closer to her family. She continued working at a local animal clinic until she required back surgery. Unfortunately, after her surgery, she was unable to meet the physical demands of the clinic setting.

Determined not to give up on her love for animal care, Lexi started an in-home pet care business while recovering. What began as a temporary solution turned into a thriving business, and three years and four hundred clients later, she has built a loyal and trusting community. Lexi has enjoyed every moment of working with animals, providing them with the love and attention they need. What started as a side job has grown into something she is incredibly proud of. Now, with a team of nine in 2024, she has no plans of slowing down. Lexi has poured her heart and energy into her business since day one and is deeply grateful for her team and the clients who have supported her journey.
